How To Set Any Song As Custom iPhone Ringtone

Ringtones are one of the easiest ways of personalizing your iPhone. Generally, it happens with us that we like a part of the song and we want to make it our ringtone. It is possible now to Set Any Song As Custom iPhone Ringtone. Moreover, you can choose the exact part of the song you want for a ringtone. Once you have added the song’s ringtone to your iPhone, you can set it as the phone’s default ringtone or as the ringtone for a specific contact.

Step1: First you need to open iTunes on your computer and find the song that you want to set for the ringtone.

Step2: Now right-click on the song and select ‘Get Info’ followed by the ‘Options’. In the Options tab, you will see Start and Stop. This is the place where you will enter your start and stop time for the ringtone. You first need to listen to the song carefully to get understanding when to start and stop your clip. When you are done with the time setting just press OK.

Step3: Create an AAC version of your song by right-clicking and selecting ‘Create AAC Version’. Now you will have the original as well as AAC version in your library now. You can also change the original song back to its regular start and stop time by just unchecking the boxes next to Start and Stop.

Step4: Right-click on your new AAC song clip and select ‘Show in Finder’From the Finder folder, right-click your newly created song and select ‘Get Info’.

Step5: In the Get Info menu, under ‘Name and Extension’, change the extension for .m4a to .m4r and save your changes. Once saved, drag the file from the folder to your desktop.

Step6: Now connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes. Select the three dots next to your phone and click Tones in the drop-down menu.

Step7: Next Drag the tone from the desktop to the Tones section.

Step8: Now Click on the iPhone icon and go to Tones -> Sync Tones -> Selected Tones -> and select your tone and sync your device.

Step 9: Finally, Now on your phone, go to Settings -> Sounds -> Ringtones and select your new ringtone from the list.
