Instagram recently introduced the ability for users to add GIFs to their Stories in the same way they would add normal stickers. Instagram has teamed up with GIPHY to build a library of high-quality GIFs on Instagram Stories. GIF stickers in Instagram Stories are available as part of Instagram version 29 on iOS and Android. This feature allows users to browse trending GIFs or search for GIFs manually. So today we are going to tell you how you can Add GIF Stickers to your Instagram Story.
1: Firstly make sure that you are using the latest version of the Instagram app on your Android or iOS phone. If you are using an older version, you don’t have this option to add gif sticker to your Instagram Story. 2: Now tap the icon on the top left to open the camera on the home page of the app.
3: Capture a photo or video, or select gallery to add an existing photo or video. When you’re done, you will see a smiley face icon at the top, next to the drawing and text tools.
4: Tap the smiley face icon. This icon allows you to add animated fig sticker to your story.
5: Tap the sticker marked by an animated GIF.
6: Choose any sticker from the trending page or use the search bar to find a GIF sticker to perfectly match any moment. Just tap and hold to drag it at the desired position and add it to your post.
You can add as many stickers as you want, and move and resize them. There is no limit from the Instagram official handle. So, you can make your Instagram more interesting with awesome gif stickers.
Note: After you add a GIF, you can use pinch-to-zoom and drag controls to change its size, orientation and location. If you want to delete a GIF from your post, tap and hold on the GIF. Then A trash appeara near the bottom of the screen. Drag the GIF to the trash can to delete it. Also, don’t forget to enable double security with your Instagram account.
