How to change your Date of Birth on Facebook in your Personal Computer
Before you going to change your birthday on Facebook, you must remember that there is only a limited number of times to change. If you created your profile recently you can’t change it immediately. You need to wait few days before going to change.
After getting eligibility to edit your birthday, then follow the steps below to change it on your Personal Computer.
1.Go to the Facebook website in any browser and log in to your account by using your username and password.
2.On the homepage of your account, you will find your profile on the top-left. Click on that.
3.On your profile menu, you will find a section called ‘About’.Click on that.
4.Here in the ‘About section you will find “Contact and Basic Info” by scrolling a little bit down. By clicking on that will change the main window.
5.In the main portion of the window you will find “Basic Information” by scrolling down.
6.Here you find your complete information, so you can change the information that you need, Either Birth Date or Birth Year. There you will find an Edit button off to the right. Click on the Edit button.
7.If you have eligibility to change, then go ahead and change your birthday to the correct one.
8.After you are done with editing, then click on Save changes.
After updating your new birth date, it will be displayed in the ‘About’ section of your profile. You can also hide your birthday from your friends and family by changing the privacy settings and restrict your viewing only. 1.Download and install the Facebook app on your Smartphone and iOS devices.
2.After that log in to your Facebook account by using your credentials. After logging in you redirects to News Feed Page.
3.On the news feed page you find a Menu icon with three horizontal stacked lines. For iOS, you will find it at the bottom-right corner of the screen. And for Android users, you will find it on the top-right corner of the screen. Tap on the Menu icon.
4.After tapping on the Menu icon you find your name on the top of the menu. So by tapping on your name you will redirect to your profile page.
5.Here you will find ‘About’ just below your profile photo. For android users to find ‘About’ you have to scroll down a little bit.
6.After tapping on “About”, scroll down a little bit you will find “Basic Info”. Then tap on Edit which is located right of the “Basic info” heading.
7.When you reach the Birthday option you will find two editable options. The day and month of your birthday and the year which you were born.
8.Edit what you want to change i.e month, day or year in order to access the drop-down menu.
9.Repeat these steps until your birthdays change to the correct one.
10.Once you are done changing, scroll down and tap on ‘save’.
After following all these steps above you new birthday will be updated and displayed inside the ”About’ section of your profile.
