Erling Holland says he is very comfortable with his new team. He got off to a record-breaking start in his new career with Borussia Dortmund, and it allowed him to trigger a new trend in the world of football.
The young Norwegian striker has had nothing interesting so far this season. He stressed that his fresh start with the team was easy. Playing alongside Jadan Sanso, Marco Reus, and Thorgan Hazard, he hastened to adjust to the game.

‘Yes, of course, my father was a great role model for me,’ Holland said of his father. ‘I have always said to myself that I want to become a professional footballer at the highest level, and that is what I have been saying all my life. Trying to progress beyond him is also a goal. I had a lot of role models, but my dad might be older.

He also admitted that he has a lot more work to do if he wants to fill his father’s shoes.

‘You know, I’ve been here a month, but when my team is very good, sometimes it’s easy to create opportunities and play with them because they are so good,’ Holland said of his team. ‘The first moment I played with Jadon (Sancho), Marco (Rias), Thorgan (Hazard), you know them, it sits upright, just like with world-class players.
